This is the part worth actually reading.

Allergen and sensitivity filtering is best-effort, not a guarantee. It works by matching ingredient names, so it can miss an allergen hiding under an unfamiliar name, inside a compound ingredient, or in a packaged product whose contents it cannot know. If an allergy is serious, read the label and judge for yourself. The same goes for diet filters — they are worked out from ingredients, and they are a convenience rather than a certification.

Recipes marked ✨ are written by an AI and are not tested, tasted or reviewed by anyone before you see them. Quantities, times and temperatures can be wrong. Treat an invented recipe as a suggestion from an enthusiastic stranger, not as instructions from a cook who has made it.

Cooking safely is yours. Where the app shows safe internal temperatures it is quoting published USDA guidance as a convenience — the responsibility for cooking food properly, storing it safely and deciding what is safe for you and the people you feed stays with you.

Meal Prep Roulette is free, and it is a personal project rather than a company. You may use it for your own cooking. Please don't attack it, try to break into other people's accounts, scrape it wholesale, or use it to do anything illegal.

The AI feature costs real money to run and is limited accordingly. Deliberately trying to exhaust it is the one thing that would spoil it for everybody.

You are responsible for your account and for what you put in it. Recipes you write stay yours — the app stores them so it can show them back to you across your devices, and does nothing else with them.

You can delete your data at any time from the ☰ menu. See the privacy page for exactly what is stored and where.

A shared grocery list, menu or recipe is reachable by anyone holding its link. Share it with people you mean to share it with, and remember that a live shared list can be ticked by anyone who has it.

Share a recipe and you are publishing it to whoever holds that link, so share what is yours to share. A recipe link expires 90 days after the last time anyone opens it.

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. It may be unavailable, lose data, or stop existing. It is a hobby project, and it is free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the maker of Meal Prep Roulette is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from using it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them. Features may change or be removed. You can stop using the site whenever you like, and delete your data on the way out.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
